Garden Center Merchandiser

Our goal as a company, and your responsibility as a merchandiser, will be excellent presentation/display and maintenance of live shrubs, trees, roses, perennials and seasonal items within a retail garden center.
You will be responsible for following plan-o-grams, maintaining signage and aesthetics standards, as well as assisting shoppers inside a big-box garden center.
Responsibilities:
Display plant material according to set standards Ensure safe construction and location of displays Set up, restock, and take down marketing displays - reorganizing as needed and refilling displays as shipments arrive Maintain and help sell plant material - includes watering, signing, & pruning Converse with customers as they request assistance and/or have questions Effectively communicate with supervisor, store employees, other service teams Keep a clean work area
Qualifications:
Previous experience in merchandising, retail/sales, customer service, horticulture, landscaping, or other related fields preferred Ability to handle physical workload - consistently lift and move up to 40 lbs.
